Middlebury Schools Add New Facilities
MIDDLEBURY – October 8, 2015 — DJ Construction began work on two new facilities at the main campus for the Middlebury School system in August.
This continues an ongoing relationship, between the school and DJ, which began with small service projects and has expanded to multiple projects over this last summer recess. These two new buildings include a transportation building that will be located South of the Administrative Offices and a soccer facility located at the North end of the existing soccer fields.
According to DJ Project Manager Adam Tohulka, the transportation facility is a 5,100 SF pre-engineered steel building that includes bus bays, restrooms, offices, a conference room and storage areas. This new facility “will allow the schools to have top notch onsite service & maintenance facilities to keep the bus fleet in great condition.” says Tohulka.
The soccer facility is a 2,460 SF building that will have include space for storage, dressing rooms, restrooms and a concession area. Tohulka adds, “The restrooms and concession area will be great amenities for visitors to use.”
Estimated completion date is December, 2015.
