Maple City Health Care Center opens second location at historical Goshen home

GOSHEN, Ind. May 15, 2015 –Access to quality and affordable healthcare is available for Goshen community members now that the second location of Maple City Health Care Center is officially accepting patients. On Wednesday, May 20, 2015, the IU Health Goshen Foundation and Maple City Health Care will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 808 N. 3rd St, formerly known as the Abshire Mansion.

This second location has the much-needed clinic, education and counseling space that Maple City Health Care needs to provide quality care to the Goshen community.

DJ Construction has been the contractor for the project that consists of a one-story, wood-framed addition to the back of the mansion. This addition houses twelve exam rooms, one procedure room, abundant office space, and a few group offices. This 4,000 square foot addition is attached to the already-existing 3,000 sq. ft. building and also connected to the mansion’s kitchen. The landmark itself remains in mint condition and will house conference areas and large-group rooms that will serve as training facilities for the public.
