Hospice Phase 1 Complete

Phase I Completed at Center for Hospice Care

MISHAWAKA – From its humble beginnings in a renovated home three decades ago, to multiple locations throughout Northern Indiana, on August 20 Center for Hospice Care (CHC) opened its doors to a brand new facility built by DJ Construction.

The new campus is located on the northern banks of the St. Joseph River, nestled between Central Park and Cedar Street in Mishawaka.

At the August 20 ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house, key leaders were on site to discuss the economic, community, and health care victories won from the construction of the new facility.

Mike Wargo, Vice-President/COO of the Hospice Foundation, said, “As a partner, DJ has done phenomenal work through the whole process. They came to us with this design-build concept that they had done successfully with a number of other projects in the area, and they’ve done an extremely great job…. I’d highly recommend people work with [DJ] if they have projects like this in the future.”
