GOSHEN, Indiana — DJ Construction, a family-owned construction company approaching its 65th anniversary, has announced changes to its leadership team.

The team leading the commercial construction company now includes six people, including three members of the Schrock family that owns the majority of the shares.

Matt Schrock is now vice president after joining the company seven years ago, serving most recently as manager of business development. He is an owner and will continue to oversee business development as well as take on an expanded role with DJ. Matt lives in Elkhart and is married with one daughter and another one on the way.

Jason Pippenger continues as president of DJ Construction, a role he has had since 2016. He started with the company as an estimator in 2001 and has held a variety of management roles, including vice president of business operations. As president and an owner, Jason focuses on strategic planning and future growth. He is married with two daughters and lives in Goshen.

Lydell Troyer is chief operating officer and an owner, overseeing the construction operations for DJ. Lydell started in 1990 as a carpenter and held numerous roles prior to being named chief operating officer in 2016. He is married with two adult daughters and resides in Goshen.

Mike Steinau is now chief financial officer after serving as controller. He joined the company in 2013 after working in public accounting. Mike oversees financial operations for the company, as well as its IT and human resources functions. He is married with three daughters and lives in Elkhart.

Mandi (Schrock) Juarez continues as director of brand management, handling marketing, brand awareness and events for the company. She is an owner and joined DJ in 2015. She lives in Elkhart with her husband and son.

Bob Schrock continues as CEO and part-owner of DJ Construction. Schrock is in his 39th year with the company, having joined in 1981. His father Don and uncle Joe started the company in 1954. He was general manager and became president in 1994 and then CEO in 2006. He continues to be active in guiding the company. He is married and is the father of Matt and Mandi. He resides in Elkhart.
