GOSHEN—October 11, 2018—Ian Simmons was recently recognized for his 25 years of service at DJ Construction.

Simmons joined DJ in 1993 as a laborer, progressing through his career and is currently a Superintendent.

DJ CEO Bob Schrock had this to say, “Ian has been willing to do whatever it takes to help develop and maintain our client relationship with Goshen Health. Since 2009, he has been dedicated exclusively to their projects, whether inside the hospital or on the construction of other projects they have going in and around the community. Because of his experience, ASHE training, and continued commitment to their healthcare requirements, Ian has become a trusted and requested superintendent for their work and one that we have total confidence in as he represents our values in this specialized field.”

Simmons is a 1993 graduate of Fairfield High School. Ian, his wife Stacie and two children, Paige and Carter live in Syracuse. In his spare time, Ian enjoys being home to work on small projects, spend time with his family and attend his kids’ activities.

As he reflected on his career with DJ, Ian said “My time here at DJ has been life changing. The knowledge I’ve gained, relationships I’ve formed and guidance I’ve received, from my superiors, have helped make me who I am.” Some of Simmons’ notable clients and projects include Culver Duck Farm, Emergency Radio Service, Faith Mission, The Farmstead Inn, Goshen Family Dentistry and Goshen Health.

In honor of his 25th anniversary, DJ Construction gifted Ian a 25-year watch and will send the Simmons family on a cruise.
